Dear Island Guests,

Like All of You, Association Island has been patiently waiting for direction regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic and its effects on Island Guests. As of this moment, the Good News is We will open on May 15, 2020!

We are excited to host as many of you as possible. There are social distancing protocols established by the CDC and the State, and Local Governments that require Us to make changes to the experience.

As of today, May 3rd, 2020 we are able to accept reservations only for Guests who will be coming to Association Island with a RV that has its own bathroom, or guests who reserve a stay in our Cabins and Cottages. Please call to make the reservations. Our marina will be open for those who would like to reserve a marina slip. We will be renting our pontoon boat, fishing boat, kayaks, pedal bikes, and golf carts on a daily basis only to provide adequate time to clean and wash each rental before the following day.

Our main priority at this time is the health and safety of our employees and guests.

Current Association Island Operating Protocol per CDC/Government Guidelines:

As per government protocols, bathhouses or bathrooms are not open. The store is open via app orders but cannot allow guests into our store.

Unfortunately, at this time, we also cannot open any of the playground facilities, pool, gathering areas, or provide Activities, Bands, and tasting events. The laundry room will be open with restrictions.

In addition, only registered guests will be allowed on the Island. We cannot allow any visitors and will ask all to maintain the 6-foot social distancing protocols.

The check-in process will require all guests to prepay their whole visit with credit cards. We will not allow cash transactions as it requires closer contact. We will ask all guests to sign their visitation waivers by online or by our AI Camping APP

We ask that All Guests download the APP onto their cellphones as this will also be used as a way for Association Island to Text you in real-time with news that could affect your stay. It will also be the only way to rent boats, carts, etc. You must sign the waivers. Sorry, no cash transactions.

Once on the Island, a Staff Member will escort you to your site. Once at the site, you can also localize your site on our AI Camping APP. The Island is equipped with full 50 amp hookups and a free WiFi system that will allow guests to communicate via the internet if necessary.

We have an APP-based online Store where you can order essentials like firewood, Ice, and fishing worms that allow for pickup and delivery. At this time, we plan on stocking some common RV supplies to aid some of your RV hook-up to water/black water and electricity needs.

We are grateful to be open and people can finally get outside.

We know this will not be the standard Association Island Experience as we must prioritize safety first. Association Island still offers an amazing experience, and the charm of spending time with Nature, the Lake, the sunset, and the campfire will provide lasting memories for generations.

Hi, we have never been there but would like to. I have a travel trailer and my daughter has a pop up trailer, can we make a reservation for later in the summer? I know you don’t know when all this will be lifted, but hoping very soon!

Kathi, We wish we can host all campers, but right now, only RV’s with a bathroom can be accommodated. Please call the office for further clarification.

My Wife and I have a 27 foot travel trailer, but 2 of our children would like to come along, but use a 2 person tent on our site and use our bathroom facilities in the camper. Us this allowable under current conditions?
Thank you,
Steven D. Williams

Please call the office so we understand your specific condition. If your children are situated near you, it is possible, but there must be a very specific details which need to be confirmed. Thank you.

Are prices discounted since you offer less at this time? (No bath houses, no playgrounds or pools, etc.)

We are not discounting our prices. Because of the Virus, our costs have gone up, and we are just happy to be open. We realize all our customers have choices and we are honored if you pick up for your stay. But, understand that like every business, we are trying to do what is best for our Guests, our Staff and our Community. It is amazing. 6 weeks ago, we were not even sure we were opening, or if we would survive this season.
