Jeff Clark is the new General Manager of the Association Island KOA. Jeff is working for Dr. Shim and his family to contribute to the continued success and positive growth of our well-established Campground. Jeff and his wife Angie are long time VIP campers in the KOA family. Jeff has had the opportunity to meet many great people, all across the country, in the KOA family and to personally observe some of the great things they do to enhance the guest camping experience. Jeff, is a father, grandfather, and a US Army veteran. Jeff has spent many years managing Hotel/Motels as well as managing large corporate restaurants. He has a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and taking organizations to the next level of success.
Jeff believes that great customer service starts at the top and is reflected in each and every employee. He believes in the consistent enforcement of established rules by ownership to ensure the mutual enjoyment of all our Campers. Jeff also believes that any and all success experienced by our Campground is directly due to our guest Campers. That belief is why Jeff loves a quote he read by a very famous NY city hotel proprietor, a German immigrant who took the Hotel world and the North country by storm. A person that is a central figure in the 1000 Islands area, and that is responsible for building Boldt Castle.
“Whatever success I have had was due to my attention to my guests…” – George C. Boldt.
Like many of our guest Campers, Jeff and his wife Angie fell in love with Association Island upon first arrival. They love the beauty and tranquility of our Island and appreciate the great people and wonderful outdoor activities available in the North country. They hope for a long and successful relationship with The Association Island KOA and the surrounding Community.

David is working with Dr. Shim, his family and our new general manager to enhance the beauty and function of our Island Campground. David has been charged with maintaining and improving our infrastructure and to supervise our maintenance staff in the implementation of their daily duties.
David believes that campground beautification is one of the most important things we can do to enhance our guest Campers experience. David comes to us with 30 years of construction supervision experience and most recently was a maintenance supervisor for an RV park in the Florida Keys.
David is originally from Watertown and his wife Shannon is originally from Carthage NY. They both have strong family ties to the area.
